PEER REVIEW POLICY
Transdisciplinary Journal of Ecology and Humanities is committed to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly rigor, fairness, and academic integrity. To ensure the quality and impartiality of the editorial process, all research articles and scholarly contributions submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process.
All manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief to assess whether the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and to ensure compliance with ethical and scholarly standards. Manuscripts that meet these initial criteria are assigned to an Associate Editor for full handling. Submissions that pass this initial screening are then evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise in the subject matter. All articles undergo this process with the following exceptions, which do not undergo our standard peer review process:
- Letters to the Editor, Commentaries, Editorials, Guest Editorials, and Book Reviews, which are based on the decision of the Editor, who may ask experts on the merit of their contents.
Reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality about the manuscripts they review. For detailed guidance on reviewing, please refer to our Reviewer Guidelines.
The journal strives to conduct the peer review process in a timely, constructive, and respectful manner. Reviewer comments are communicated anonymously to authors, and authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers’ feedback. All editorial decisions are made independently of any financial considerations, including article processing charges. Authors should expect to receive an initial decision on their manuscript within 12 weeks of submission. If revision of the manuscript is required, the authors must submit within 4 weeks of the request. If accepted for publication, articles will be published with 6 months of acceptance.
Refer to the Journal’s peer review process in the Author Guidelines for more information.
